A graduate of Pratt Institute with over 35 years of experience, Alexander B Jacobs, AIA, has been e a principal of the firm since 1998. He has extensive experience in the design and construction of complex renovation projects for both public agencies and private/corporate clients including the Restoration of the LIC Courthouse, the Addition to the Indonesian Mission to United Nations, and the Renovation of Woodside Station, as well as new construction.

He provides leadership on numerous projects in the public sector, for agencies including the NYC School Construction Authority, the New York City Housing Authority, the NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services and many others. In addition to project management, Mr. Jacobs coordinates some of the most complex aspects of the firm’s projects and interacts with regulatory agencies to usher projects through complicated approval processes. He also participates in many professional and community committees, including serving on Building Code Committees for the NYC Department of Buildings.
